Future World – Day Tripping WDW

For many planning a Walt Disney World vacation, a single park visit can take up an entire day. But for some of us, that can be just part of our day. Whether you have a dining reservation, need to go cool off from the Florida heat, or have a flight to catch, sometimes you just want to fit in as much park magic as you can in a short day trip. Today, I’m going to discuss experiences and tips for Day Tripping to Epcot’s Future World!

Day Tripping Future World

Day Tripping Future World in Epcot

For a short day trip, Epcot can be quite wonderful. Because the park opens in sections, crowds tend to be a bit smaller to start the day. Also, there is currently only one ride in the World Showcase area, so you can knock out most (if not all) of the Future World rides by lunch! With the compact size of Future World, you could fit in quite a bit of magic before having to move on to your location. But if you’re not aware of some factors, your trip could be more frustrating than fun.

Le Cellier Steakhouse – Restaurant Review

Entrance to Le Cellier Walkway

With a variety of exotic entertainment, shops, and dining experiences throughout Epcot’s World Showcase, it can be easy to look past our neighbor to the north. At first glance, there is very little to the Canada pavilion, located just to the right of the entrance from Future World. However, tucked away under the elevated chateau is Le Cellier Steakhouse, one of Epcot’s most intimate dining options.

Le Cellier Steakhouse

Off to the side of the Canada pavilion is a winding pathway taking you past a beautiful flower garden and over a small stream. After this little stroll, you’ll find the doors to Le Cellier Steakhouse. Inside, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a converted wine cellar. The stone archways and wood furnishings give you the sense you’re now inside a very fine restaurant.

Bucket List – Walt Disney World

With four parks, twenty-eight resorts, and a variety of other activities on property, there is no shortage of things to do at Walt Disney World. Whether it is your first trip or your fiftieth, you can always put something new on your itinerary. I, myself, have been creating a list of all the experiences I wanted to get to since I was a kid. Now that I’m an adult, it just keeps growing. Today, I’m going to share the Disney bucket list I’ve built over the years plus a few extra items that others have shared with me.

Where Bucket List Dreams Come True

Disney Bucket List

Stay at All Three Resort Loop Resorts – As a kid, I would marvel at the three resorts along the Seven Seas Lagoon as we whipped through on the monorail. Attempting to fulfill this one over the last 25 years makes this one of my very first bucket list items. I was lucky enough to check the Polynesian off as a child but I still look at the Grand Floridian and Contemporary with those same wide eyes. The cost for them can be prohibitive with the cheapest rack rate coming in at $400 a night. With all three resorts now featuring Disney Vacation Club extensions, becoming a member could help cut the cost drastically but would come with a large up front purchase.
